220 volt outlet problem

I'm having a problem with wiring a 220 volt outlet, a Leviton Model 5823 NEMA 6-20R receptacle.

GFCI outlet installation

Is a GFI outlet installed at the start of a run or at the end of the run? Great Question! The best place to install a GFCI outlet or receptacle is at the beginning of the circuit, wiring it so the load to the rest of the circuit is wired through the GFCI and the remaining receptacles or devices are then protected by the GFCI.

how many electrical outlets on a circuit

How many electrical outlets can be on one circuit? Great Question! It really depends on where the electrical outlets will be located, what wire size you will be using and what the receptacles will be used for.
