Fixture noises are not common, look for these problems
[ad#block]I have new lamps above the bathroom mirror. They make a “click” noise when turned on at uneven intervals and even make the click noise for a long time after the lamp is turned off.

Thanks for your electrical wiring question Sarah.
How to Check Noisy Light Fixtures
Fixture noises are not common, look for these problems
- Sarah, you should have this light fixture checked out.
- If the noise is happening then you should double check the bulbs to make sure they are the right size.
- This noise may be cause by expansion and contraction of the fixture parts due to heat being produced while the fixture is on, but I do not encounter this very often. If in doubt, check it out!
